Melissa Santos was a beautiful soul with a radiant smile who died at home unexpectedly on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at the age of 24.
Melissa is survived by her 4 month old daughter Nayeli Anaiya Santos Medina, boyfriend Christopher Medina; grandmother Constancia Barbosa, mother Ana Santos; stepfather Pedro Fortes, brother Kelton Dasilva, sister Vanessa Fortes; 1 niece, 1 nephew, 18 aunts/uncles & about 100+ cousins.
Melissa was born on Saturday, March 22, 1997 in Providence, RI. Melissa was a free spirited and beautiful soul who touched a lot of people’s hearts, minds and lives. She graduated from Charles E. Shea High School in 2015. Melissa brought more joy and strength in numbers to the family when she brought into this world, a gorgeous baby girl, Nayeli Anaiya Santos Medina, whom she sadly left behind at only 4 months old.
Melissa’s wake will be this Sunday, August 29th at The Keefe Funeral Home located at 5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI 02865 from 2:00-5:00PM. Direct burial will be at 10 am on Monday, August 30th at North Burial Ground Cemetery, 5 Branch Ave, Providence, RI 02904. Please Meet at the cemetery circle.
